The Board’s primary responsibility is to steer the chamber towards a sustainable future by adopting sound, ethical, and legal governance and financial management policies, as well as by making sure the Chamber adequately advances its mission to support local businesses and community prosperity.

Board members also play a crucial role in advocating for local business interests in community and government settings, ensuring that the voice of our business community is heard and respected. They are tasked with the recruitment, orientation, and development of new board members to maintain a governance body that reflects the diversity and dynamism of our community.

Each member of the Board is expected to attend and participate actively in all board meetings, contribute to the Organizations’ fundraising efforts, and assist in at least two Chamber events per year. Our Board operates under the highest standards of legal, ethical, and fiscal responsibility, evaluating the performance of the Executive Director to ensure accountability and effective leadership within the Chamber.
