FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Arlington Farm Tours Returns August 6–9 and August 15–16, 2026

Discover Family Fun, Fresh Produce, Farm Animals, and the Beauty of the Stillaguamish Valley

ARLINGTON, Wash. — The Arlington Farm Tours are back this summer, inviting visitors to experience the rich agricultural heritage of the Stillaguamish Valley during two exciting weekends: August 6–9 and August 15–16.

This free, self-guided event offers a unique opportunity to visit working farms, meet local farmers, run a 5K through berry fields, and enjoy hands-on experiences while exploring one of Snohomish County’s most scenic farming communities.

Visitors can create their own tour by choosing from participating farms offering a variety of activities, including:

  • U-pick berries, flowers, and produce
  • Farm animals and family-friendly activities
  • Farmland 5K at Hazel Blue Acres
  • Farm Tours Cornhole Tournament at Andrew’s Hay
  • Fresh fruits, vegetables, honey, eggs, and local products
  • Lavender fields and gift shops
  • Farm markets and artisan vendors
  • Line dancing and great music in the park
  • Beautiful country drives through the Stillaguamish Valley

Whether you’re searching for the perfect bouquet, fresh ingredients for dinner, or simply a memorable family outing, Arlington Farm Tours offer something for every age.

New This Year

Visitors can also enjoy special events throughout the tour, including the Berry Baking Contest at the Arlington Farmers Market on August 8. Local bakers are invited to showcase their favorite berry pies, cobblers, crisps, cookies, cakes, and other berry-inspired desserts using locally grown berries.

Entries will be judged by a panel of judges, with the winner receiving $50 in Arlington Farmers Market gift cards along with market merchandise.

The Arlington Farmers Market will also feature local vendors, fresh produce, artisan goods, a pet food drive for Purrfect Pals, and live community activities during the tour weekends.

Support Local Agriculture

Arlington Farm Tours are designed to connect residents and visitors with the people who grow the food, flowers, and products that make the Stillaguamish Valley a special place. Every stop offers an opportunity to support local farms while learning about agriculture and enjoying the beauty of the countryside.

Whether you visit one farm or several, Arlington Farm Tours are a perfect way to spend a summer day exploring, shopping, tasting, and making memories.

NATIONAL CIVICS BEE

We are bringing the National Civics Bee to Arlington, Washington, on April 18, 2026, at Byrnes Performing Arts Center at Arlington High School. The student who wins in the local competition will then go to the state, and the winner from Washington State will go to the National Competition on an all-expense-paid trip.

Participating 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students flex their civics knowledge for a chance to win recognition and cash prizes, including the national prize of a $100,000, and there is no cost to participate. This competition was created to help our students become informed and active citizens in our community. The process starts with an essay, in which the student writes about a problem they see in their community.
